With over 180 000 visitors, the Agricultural show of Libramont is a major event in the rural life of the Greater Region. Indeed, this fair presents many areas related to the agricultural industry such as livestock farming, forestry, horticulture or the food industry.
During the four days of the show, the Centre de Recherche Public – Gabriel Lippmann represented the research sector of Luxembourg. Several researchers from the EVA department welcomed the visitors on a stand displaying the main activities of the centre regarding forestry and agricultural biotechnologies. The optimization of biogas production had also a place of honour in the INTERREG village, and was a great success among the public.
