A senior researcher in Nanomaterials technology (m/f)
Mission:
The successful candidate will have: - To execute the experimental work of R&D projects using the nanomaterials research unit capabilities, - To be responsible of the advanced focused ion beam and electrochemical pattern replication techniques, - To develop novel advanced FIB and ECPR processes at the state-of-the-art, - To communicate on the generated scientific results (conference, scientific publications, symposium…), - To propose novel applications based on FIB and ECPR technologies, - To actively participate to the safety/quality standards setup, - To efficiently perform basic materials characterization, - To interface with the instrumental, analytical and surface treatment Unit for efficient project execution, - To occasionally train students or external people to the FIB-ECPR techniques, - To occasionally write technical reports both in French and English,
Profile:
- Ph.D in materials science, physics, physical-chemistry with at least 3 years of proven experience in advanced technology processes, - Strong experimental background in nanomaterials elaboration, scientific knowledge in electro-chemistry synthesis is a plus, - Demonstrated scientific contributions to high-level science (provide a list of publication), - Past experience with or in the private sector will be appreciated, - Excellent communication, organizational, flexibility and interpersonal skills with a mandatory team-spirit, - Fluency in English (scientific exchanges) and French (administrative language).
